Technical Implementations Manager

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex, end-to-end technical implementations within a global payments environment, enabling seamless integration of advanced card issuing and processing solutions. You will act as the key bridge between clients and internal engineering teams, ensuring smooth onboarding, API integration, certification, and production readiness. The position requires a strong mix of technical expertise and project management skills to deliver high-quality implementations across multiple stakeholders and geographies. You will work in a fast-paced, international setting where precision, collaboration, and problem-solving are essential. The role has a direct impact on client success, ensuring secure and efficient payment experiences at scale. • Lead end-to-end client onboarding and technical implementation of card payment solutions, ensuring seamless integration and go-live readiness
• Manage API integration, testing, and certification processes across Visa and Mastercard ecosystems
• Coordinate implementation of services such as tokenisation, 3DS, fast feed, and embossing vendor integrations
• Oversee UAT and production testing, documenting results and ensuring issue resolution in collaboration with internal teams
• Support BIN certification, pilot testing, and scheme readiness activities for successful production launches
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during integration and testing phases using internal tools and cross-functional collaboration
• Ensure clients successfully implement advanced payment capabilities including tokenisation, Visa Account Updater, and 3DS
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines, technical requirements, and deliverables

Requirements:

• 5–6 years of experience in technical project management, ideally within card payments or fintech environments
• Strong understanding of card issuing systems, payment processing, and ISO 8583 standards
• Experience with Visa and Mastercard certification processes, including scheme simulators and settlement flows
• Solid knowledge of API integration, testing methodologies, and production deployment cycles
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Zendesk, Slack, and Wrike
• Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex integration challenges
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to manage multiple implementation projects from planning to successful delivery
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in high-complexity environments
