This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Implementations Manager in India.
This role sits at the core of global payment technology delivery, ensuring seamless onboarding and integration of complex card issuing solutions for banks and fintech clients.
You will lead end-to-end technical implementation projects, from API integration and certification to testing and production go-live readiness.
The position requires close coordination with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth deployment of payment services across multiple markets.
You will play a key role in translating technical requirements into reliable, scalable implementations within a high-growth, global environment.
The role combines strong technical expertise with project management, client engagement, and deep knowledge of payment systems.
This is a highly impactful position where your work directly contributes to successful global payment launches and client satisfaction.
Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end client onboarding and technical implementation of card issuing and payment solutions, ensuring smooth integration and system functionality.
- Manage API integrations, testing, and certification processes across payment services including tokenisation, 3DS, fast feeds, and related ecosystem components.
- Coordinate go-live readiness activities, including pilot testing, scheme certification (Visa and Mastercard), and production deployment validation.
- Oversee UAT and system testing phases, ensuring all results are documented, tracked, and resolved effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation using internal tools and cross-functional collaboration.
- Work closely with clients to implement additional payment features and value-added services such as account updater and credit functionalities.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of implementation milestones.
- Ensure all implementations meet technical standards, compliance requirements, and operational readiness criteria.
- 5–6 years of experience in technical project management, preferably within the card payments or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of card issuance, payment processing, ISO 8583 standards, and tokenisation lifecycle management.
- Proven experience managing API integration projects end-to-end in complex technical environments.
- Hands-on experience with Visa and Mastercard certification, including scheme simulators and settlement processes.
- Strong understanding of UAT, testing methodologies, and production deployment processes.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Zendesk, Slack, and Wrike for project tracking and collaboration.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple integration workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams and clients.
