Job Summary :

Review business requirements, end-user interfaces, and reported issues from internal and external customers to write and edit user assistance. Enhance content with metadata for search engine optimization. Validate content by conducting user research.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and understand supporting materials.
• Write and edit user assistance in accordance with ACI style standards.
• Validate content through user researchprojects
• Deliver customer-facing content as embedded help, topic-based files, presentations, and training.
• Enhance content with metadata for search engine optimization.
• Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
• Understand and comply with Risk Management program requirements including identification of risks, key controls, and control testing as applicable to responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Journalism, Linguistics, or related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job:

• Understanding of cloud computing types (public, private, hybrid, and multi) and services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) and potential effect on documentation requirements.
• Understanding of cloud computing dependent technologies including operating systems, databases, and APIs.
• 1-3 years' experience:
  • Translating complex technical information into simple, clear content for end-users
  • Working in a topic-based content management system
• 2+ courses towards user experience certification, or equivalent experience
• Understanding of task analysis, persona development, usability testing, and other user experience design methodologies
• Understanding of information architecture and SEO

Work Environment:

• Office work environment
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to produce and present content both orally and in writing
• No travel required
