Job Description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Production, Production Management, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in portfolio program management within theme parks, museum exhibits, retail environments, the performing arts, broadcast or a similar environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time to Experience Center locations and team off-sites.


Preferred qualifications:
  • PMP, CSM, ITIL, IASSC program management certifications or similar.
  • Experience in a technical leadership or management role.
  • Experience in managing multiple dynamic technical projects, with conflicting resources and priorities.
  • Familiarity with software development and physical construction processes.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity to produce detailed solutions. You can take a vague problem, crisply frame the opportunity, identify a path forward, and drive an initiative over the finish-line.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to match the situation whether in person, emails, documents, or presentations.

gTech's Business and Outsourcing Strategy and Services team (gBOSS) provides consultative services to gTech, the Global Business Organization (GBO), and Google at large, enabling each part of our business by developing innovative, scalable, and compliant solutions that allow gTech to run efficient operations with the best vendor partners at optimal cost while minimizing risk.

As a Technical Integration Program Manager, you will play a key role in managing the technical Audio, Visual, Controls, Lighting and Interactive technologies (AVCLI) lifecycle program, ranging from vendor operations to large scale Center design/build initiatives. You will mobilize cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions or operations at scale for the Experience Studio portfolio. You will be responsible for project strategy, operational modeling, eliminating bottlenecks and leveraging vendor relationships to anticipate business needs or constraints. You will also assist the Project Leads to deliver results.

Responsibilities

  • Own Technical Integration program-level strategy for project intake, planning and tracking for team-level scope. Defines intake process for AVCL design and delivery of hardware platforms, immersive physical installations and ongoing technology support and maintenance across the portfolio.
  • Leverage work-driver metrics and Experience Studio prioritization framework to develop forward looking resourcing plans (annual, quarterly) and project roadmaps.
  • Initiate and lead cross-functional syncs with internal and external partners to share plans, discuss strategies, and resolve roadblocks in project delivery. Design and implement systems and processes for tracking and reporting work-driver metrics.
  • Act as the vendor manager for Global onsite, commissioning and project delivery Technical support engagements. Own vendor engagements end-to-end, including sourcing (proposals/contracting), performance management (SLA reporting, process improvement), and stakeholder management.
  • Lead change management and communications strategy for complex Technical Integration initiatives.
