Technical (IT) Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be part of the Cybersecurity department supporting high-visibility and complex projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical (IT) Project Manager
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $40.35 per hour
Candidates: Must be able to work W2 without sponsorship.  No Corp to Corp Candidates

What's the Job?

• Develop and manage project plans in partnership with external auditors for SOC 2, SOX, and other compliance programs.
• Coordinate meetings with subject matter experts and track the completion of deliverables.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management on project progress.
• Design and manage JIRA dashboards to communicate and track progress of vulnerability remediation.
• Support cybersecurity-related efforts around M&A activities.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or comparable work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in cybersecurity or IT.
• Experience managing SOC 2 or similar compliance projects and audits.
• Solid experience with JIRA and Confluence required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
