Technical Lead

We are looking for a Technical Lead to Design and
develop microservices. Design, implement, and develop backend REST APIs, application
(microservices). Use or integrate different infrastructure pieces, such as NoSQL, message queue,
or AWS. Break down tasks and capture within the JIRA board to update the status of the JIRA
item and report on it during Scrum meetings. Develop integrations with 3rd party software
systems. Read documents and understand the third party software. Design and implement
integration solutions with a development cycle, according to product specifications from PoC,
MVP, and Production. Collaborate with Data Scientists to develop analytics and Machine
Learning-driven services that generate insights and recommendations based on large amounts of
data. Work with the Machine Learning team to: Define the contract and REST APIs between two
teams; Serve and apply the Machine Learning models in the company’s platform; and build
features. Develop automated unit tests and integration tests to ensure high-quality, defect-free
code. Write automated/manual and integration tests in Java after feature implementation to
ensure code quality. Ability to telecommute with manager approval. Requirements: Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related
followed by five years of experience with software and system development patterns and
processes or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic

Engineering or related plus three years of experience with software and system development
patterns and processes. 3 years of the required experience must have included operating
production-level products; writing and developing unit and integration tests; Java, Github, and
SQL and NoSQL databases; communicating and presenting technical engineering concepts;
Spring Boot, REST APIs, Hibernate, and AWS; microservices architectures, including to enable
rapid, frequent, and reliable delivery of large complex applications and to evolve a technology
stack; and Scrum and Agile methodology.
