Your Impact

As a Technical Lead at Weel, you’ll play a really critical role in our Engineering team, building scalable, financial infrastructure and driving key decisions related to project delivery, direction, and quality. You will guide the technical trajectory and provide leadership to a team of skilled developers. 

Balancing hands-on technical expertise with effective people management, this role is ideal for someone passionate about building and nurturing an epic team, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Your experience in full-stack application development will be invaluable, coupled with a solid understanding of how lean development teams operate. You’ll work with product managers, designers and other areas of our business to produce the best platform possible. We are building for scale and high performance to achieve our product mission of “Every expense, complete”.

-Execute and deliver on the roadmap, shaping the future of Weel

-Drive best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability

-Bring experience leading a team of Engineers, managing their growth and uplifting their capability

-While we're open to a variety of languages, experience with Python, Django, React and React Native is beneficial

- Review stories and tech designs, and then code to the task.

-Participate in code reviews and coaching/development

-Provide feedback on tasks (practicalities, options, time estimates)

-Investigate and resolve complex bugs, manage your team's releases and work with business partners on new integrations.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, scope, and objectives.

-Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

-Experience managing external or offshore engineering teams

-Experience in payments is highly advantageous
