Position: AWS Engineer

Location: Richfield USA/ Remote

Skills Overview:

What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?

• 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering and architecture, with a focus on AWS services.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.
• Proven development skills in Java and Spring Boot, with a solid understanding of software engineering principles.

Project Description:

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and maintain scalable and efficient cloud solutions using AWS services. Your role will encompass infrastructure as code, cloud architecture, software development, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud-based applications.

Preferred/nice to have skills:

• Relevant engineering experience such as software development; critical reasoning skills;
  ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; experience
  delivering quality engineering outcomes.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• AWS certifications (such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a strong plus.
