A day in the life...

We are looking for a Technical Lead to join our team, with a seasoned career in software engineering and experience in delivery leadership.

This role requires hands-on technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers. Experience in full stack application development is key!

You'll be familiar with how lean development teams operate, excelling at bringing a cross-functional team together for maximum business impact.

We are building for scale and high performance to achieve our product mission of “Every expense, complete”.

Skills we’d love you to bring along

-Experience with React, React Native, Python, Django, AWS or similar 

-Leading a squad of Engineers - managing their growth and uplifting their capability

-Review stories and/or tech designs, and then code to the task

-Pair with other developers for code reviews, training, or just general collaboration on tasks.

-Provide feedback on tasks (practicalities, options, time estimates).

-Ability to investigate and resolve complex bugs, manage your team's releases and work with business partners on new integrations.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, scope, and objectives.

-Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

-Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

-Drive best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.

-Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
