Technical Lead
Job Description
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead engineering teams on implementing the solution and ensure coding best practices are followed
- Review pull requests (PRs) and assist with release planning
- Own development user stories and support defect remediation (when necessary)
- Facilitate troubleshooting working session with the Development team (when necessary)
- Participate in all Scrum ceremonies, and Program Increment (PI) Planning events
- Assist with estimating development effort, potential risks, and raising blockers for the Development team
- Support the Solution Architect with Design documentation/discussions (when necessary)
Location and Travel Details
This is a remote position with occasional travel (if needed).
Profile of Success
- Over ten years of professional experience in Application development
- Experience in Angular10+, C#, .NET, Typescript, NodeJS
- Azure experience in Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database/SQL Server
- Must have experience in a client-facing environment and interacting with technical and business stakeholders
- Familiar with CI/CD implementation and configuration for automated deployments
- Desire to mentor and train internal Development team
- Passionate about emerging technology, want to pursue certifications, and the desire to further your IT career
- Scrum, and Scaled Agile experience through Azure DevOps for work item tracking
- Proficient with App Insights, Postman, and Dev tools for environment/defect troubleshooting
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Azure portal for oversight of all applications (Azure AD, ARM template, ARM deployments, Azure CLI, Azure REST API)
- Actively participate in the technical community, including but not limited to contribution to user groups, presenting, writing blogs, Stack Overflow, etc
- Possess current industry-recognized certifications (Azure, Scrum, SAFe)
- Understanding of software development patterns and practices (Git, version control, branching strategy, unit testing)
