This is where you come in! We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as a Technical Architect, eCommerce on the Digital Transformation (dXp) Team!

Position Overview

Technical Lead / Architect - eCommerce will architect and mentor development teams that support LG.com Brand websites. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and familiarity with headless ecommerce engines, payment gateways and, micro service architecture. You will work closely with front-end/back-end lead developers to determine a project's specifications and scope and translate the information into architectural system design, roadmap, best practice guidelines, governance and project scope/resource plans.

Requirement:

• 8 years of hands on experience in designing highly complex enterprise level ecommerce systems architecture and leading development team to successful on-time delivery.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in building, managing and delivering enterprise web applications using headless ecommerce engine such as Magento /Salesforce commerce and other enterprise technologies
• 5 years of experience in microservice REST API development and related frameworks
• Extensive experience in design/development of back-end integrations with Enterprise Order Management systems, Warehouse Management systems.
• Experience in integration architecture designs with SaaS solutions and third party service providers.
• Strong familiarity with data caching (Redis), JAVA with Spring Framework, PHP, JavaScript, React JS
• Understanding of database concepts and working knowledge of MySQL/Maria DB
• Require to have comprehensive understanding of full development lifecycle and is actively involved in all phases
• Familiarity using GIT (Version Control) and CI/CD Pipeline
• Understanding agile development methodologies
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and web analytics
• Experience building/maintaining SSO system and strong knowledge of oauth2 Architecture
• Familiar with web application performance tuning, handling concurrent transactions.

Role & Responsibility:

• The candidate will be responsible for architecting headless commerce platforms, micro services for several front-end channels such as Web/Mobile/B2B/IoT enabled devices
• Leading development teams to manage web applications built on CMS and eCommerce platforms (ContentStack CMS and Magento Cloud, highly preferred)
• Working closely with project managers to review requirements and to plan resources/delivery roadmap
• Experience in architecting enterprise solutions, including hands-on development experience with content management systems and commerce engines
• Experience working with business in understanding requirements and conceptualizing, designing and delivering a technical solution
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS) and management
• Strong understanding of database concepts and working knowledge of Maria DB
• Experience establishing CI/CD process and other DevOps best practices
• Strong experience building out SOA and Microservices ecosystem
• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with web application performance tuning, handling concurrent transactions
• Experience implementing large enterprise scale web application/platform
• Experience working with SonarQube, JMeter, New Relic APM tool
• Strong knowledge of batch/message queuing, event streaming
• Demonstrated experience with a systems development life cycle
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Experience in ALM tools like JIRA/Confluence
• Experience working with Git, Maven and Gitlab pipelines or similar code management tools
• Experience with CDN's such as Akamai/Cloudflare/Fastly
• Experience working with ContentStack and Magento
• Strong knowledge of PIM, DAM, Google Web Analytics
• Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus
