As a Technical Lead of Local Authentication at Duo Security of Cisco, you love coming to work knowing that you're creating security that's simple for everyone. Our team owns the local authentication experience. We enable our customers to improve their device authentication by adding MFA. We support multiple desktop platforms and the languages we use depend on the platform. We are experts in local authentication and use the right languages per platform to solve our customers' problems. We work in C#, C++, Swift, JavaScript and Python as needed. We don't expect you to be an expert in all those languages.
What you'll do...

• You'll work with software engineers, product managers, and designers to design and architect applications built for Desktop, Laptop, and Server Platforms.
• You'll work with engineering and product management on planning long term initiatives.
• You'll work with other engineering teams on cross team projects. You will facilitate cross team collaboration by sharing technical knowledge and identifying cross team technical dependencies.
• Model excellent software engineering practices and teach those practices to other engineers.
• Coach and mentor software engineers.

Skills you have...

• Experience developing and shipping multiple desktop products.
• Experience working on cross team projects.
• Experience leading technical initiatives.
• Mentored several software engineers.

Even better if you...

• Created a new CI/CD pipeline from scratch or made significant improvements to an existing pipeline that required major refactoring.
• Experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, Google)
