Our latest project involves the re-platforming of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) website to Wagtail, a powerful CMS. As part of this initiative, we will be migrating content and setting up systems in Azure to enhance performance and scalability and need dynamic and experienced back-end leaning Freelance Tech Lead to join the team.

Timeline: March 18, 2024 - October 11, 2024

Hours:

March 18 - March 29: 20 hours/week

April 1 - October 4: 40 hours/week

October 7 - October 11: 20 hours/week

Location: Remote

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience with Azure and Azure Web App for Containers
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud services
• Extensive experience with Python/django
• Experience with Cloudflare/Nginx/reverse proxy
• Experience with Wagtail/django as a headless CMS would be a plus!
• Experience with Content migration/API

What you'll do:

• Set up DevOps and systems necessary for the re-platforming to Wagtail
• Migrate content and set up systems in Azure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
