Position Title: Technical Lead - Hybris

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implementing world-class eCommerce solutions for major international brand customers;
• Technical Lead of a customer-facing project Scrum team using our successful Agile Project Delivery Framework;
• Lead the team in Developing Java/Spring based software that extends the hybris platform to provide web/mobile applications and integrations with external systems;
• Working with customers, business analysts and testers to understand business requirements and develop code to meet these requirements;
• Taking lead on various development activities such as designing and developing specific business components, integrations or larger parts of the solution;
• Technical leadership and mentoring of other members of the team.
• Reviewing code and organizing development tasks for the development team;
• Taking part in customer-facing activities, mostly remotely although possibility of occasional travel a few times per year;
• Development of business logic to support the customer's requirements;
• Development of web-based applications using Java/Spring;
• Development of integrations with external systems;
• Development of unit and integration tests;
• Strong focus on high-quality throughout the entire development process;
• Working closely with our Quality Assurance team as part of the Scrum team.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field of study
• 6 years of progressively responsible and related experience in hybris platform developing programming language for a $3B+ business size;
• 6 years of software development experience improving design and product management;
• 6 years of experience with transactional and multi-threaded processes;
• 6 years of experience with unit testing techniques and frameworks;
• 6 years of experience with design patterns and N-Tiers architectures;
• 6 years of experience with Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server);
• 6 years of experience with distributed version control system (Git, Mercurial);
• 6 years of experience with build automation tools (Maven, Gradle);
• 6 years of experience with application performance tuning;
• 6 years of experience in query tuning and analyze java memory using heap dump;
• 6 years of experience with Java thread analysis with thread dump and code optimization;
• 6 years of experience working in Java garbage collection and optimization;
• 6 years of experience articulating technical information (eCommerce solutions) in both verbal and written forms for a Fortune 500 global company;
• 6 years of experience as a team lead in customer facing activities;
• 5 years of professional experience (post-Bachelor's degree) in software development using Java EE;
• 5 years of experience with system integrations [JMS, web services (REST), Extract, Transform, and Load tools (ETL tools)];
• 3 years of experience leading technical teams to develop eCommerce websites and/or Mobile Apps;
• 2 years of professional experience (post-Bachelor's degree) using Spring Framework.
• Work from home available.
• Must reside within commuting distance from employer's Kennesaw, GA office.
• Requires approximately 25% domestic travel to other company worksite locations.
• Experience may be gained concurrently.
