We are seeking a Technical Lead for our Identity Access Management Engineering team. 

As the Technical Lead, you will impact the technical decision making, and architecture of the future of our e-commerce platform, specifically our sign-up & login page and our OAuth flow. You will work with the other technical leads and the other engineers on the product team to solve the problems of a fast-growing platform that has ever-growing demand day in and day out.

What you'll do:

• Lead our IAM Engineering “pod” (a small team of full-stack engineers)
• Serves as the organizational spokesperson for IAM-related activities
• Manage and grow your team of developers — direct reports. 
• Work with the Director of Engineering, Security and Legal to maintain a quarterly view of defined, prioritized, and scoped work.
• Plan and architect projects, leading design discussions and decisions
• Help meet the company goals while maintaining the technical health and security of our application
• Contribute to the code base and work alongside engineers to take projects over the finish line 
• Collaborate with other Technical Leaders — product engineering, infrastructure, security, and more 

What you bring to the table:

• You care about helping your team grow and encouraging an environment of high psychological safety
• Experience leading a full-stack software development team
• Passion for IAM and Security — Keep tabs on evolving threats, technologies, and solutions.
• Knowledge of directory services (e.g., Devise, Active Directory, LDAP), Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions and role-based access control (RBAC)
• You are passionate about fostering strong engineering practices and processes
• Experience working on high-scale web applications
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a modern full-tech stack. Ruby, Rails, React, JavaScript, Graphql, and Apollo, are preferred.
