Technical Lead - Include

We’re looking for a Technical Lead to lead our Include Team. Include is a cross-functional team within our Cultivate Camp, and is leading efforts to create new Culture Amp products to bring to market. They will be working in the Inclusion space, to enable more workplace inclusivity. 

Technical Leads at Culture Amp tend to be both hands on tools and people managers.

Software Engineering at Culture Amp is an inclusive practice distributed across cross-functional, lightweight Agile teams, which are remote-friendly, and all of which embrace flexible work arrangements. You will be surrounded by talented engineers, learning from others, as well as sharing your knowledge with them as well. You would be one of four in Include Team leadership, alongside the Delivery Lead, Design Lead and Product Lead.

What the role looks like;

• Bring your innovation and architecture fundamentals to craft and communicate clear and compelling solutions with your team, peers and other stakeholders
• Mentor and grow a team of engineers dedicated to this high priority initiative
• Lead the way in moving legacy services closer to our technical vision of distributed microservices
• Collaborate with the team leads to work out and achieve technical and product vision goals

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Solid systems architecture and programming fundamentals in Ruby, full stack experience preferable
• A technical leader who can balance hands-on technical skills whilst empowering and coaching their own engineers
• An effective communicator and collaborator both within your team and with external stakeholders
• Open to receiving feedback and giving feedback to help others grow
