Technical Lead (IV&V and Azure)

Description

ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Technical Lead requiring a Secret Clearance located in Washington D.C. Metro Area. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.

As the Technical Lead, you will be collaborating closely with stakeholders at various levels and play a key role in translating technical knowledge into actionable strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals. Your expertise will be crucial in informing decision-making processes, mitigating risks, and driving innovation within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to your field of expertise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate subject matter knowledge into business strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive research to stay current on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the knowledge base of internal teams.
• Provide expert guidance on complex problem-solving, ensuring effective and efficient solutions.
• Communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge repositories for the organization.
• Manage the quality of Independent Verification and Validation for modernized cloud solutions
• Participate in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) ceremonies, contributing to program planning and reviews
• Apply creative solutions to address organizational challenges

Basic Qualifications:

• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification -from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
• 10 years of relevant experience managing large projects for the Government
• Possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills
• 3+ years of experience working with Azure Cloud solutions
• Technical and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Agile and/or SAFe certifications preferred.
