Technical Lead Manager, Lateral Maneuver Reasoning

In this #LI-hybrid role, you will report to an Engineering Director

You will combine technical and leadership skills to shape the future of autonomous driving. You will develop the logic to change lanes with reasoning, rigorously testing and refining that logic to ensure performance and safety. You will directly influence how these vehicles interact and maneuver in complex traffic scenarios.

You have:

• Understanding of quantitative evaluation metrics to evaluate to reduce unwarranted lane changes, correlating these improvements to overall driving safety. 

• Data Fluency to iterate and improve the system through hillclimbing on performance until the desired level is achieved

• Collaboration with multiple teams to define both long-term and short-term technical roadmaps.

• Capability to manage the team, mentor and identify individual growth areas in both technical and career development.

• BS in Computer Science with 5+ years of tech leadership and management experience

• C++, Python and large scale system design

• Experience in machine learning

• Masters in Computer Science and 10+ years of software engineering experience
