Technical Lead - Mobile

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead specializing in Mobile Development to guide our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in React Native, along with a deep understanding of mobile technology stacks including Swift, Kotlin, Javascript, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs. Your role will involve leading mobile development projects, mentoring engineers, and driving the adoption of best practices in creating seamless and scalable mobile applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage a mobile development team, ensuring project goals align with company objectives.
• Architect and develop mobile applications using React Native, and other relevant mobile tech stacks like Swift and Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile products that meet business needs.
• Establish and enforce best practices for mobile development, including code quality, performance, and security standards.
• Mentor and guide team members in both technical and professional development, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Oversee the complete mobile development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of features.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, offering insights and recommendations.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in mobile development to keep Xsolla at the forefront of innovation.
• Provide technical guidance in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues that arise during the development process.
• Support and manage ad hoc tasks as needed, ensuring the team’s ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in mobile development with strong proficiency in React Native.
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Swift and Kotlin for native iOS and Android development, respectively.
• Familiarity with Javascript, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Firebase.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a team of developers.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile deployments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience with Dart (Flutter's language) and JavaScript for mobile application development.
• Knowledge of cloud services and mobile backend integration.
• Prior experience in the gaming industry or with in-app payment systems.
