Technical Lead - Mobile Developer

Purpose of the role

In this position, you will be responsible for the development and support of projects and applications with highest quality and commitment through the entire Software Development Lifecycle.

This highly responsible role involves offering state of the art technology solutions that will drive forward Global Blue’s Tax Free Shopping product offerings. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology in an agile environment for the market leader in its industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, support and deploy applications under the team scope of responsibility

• Coordinate with Development Lead and Product Managers/Owners to determine appropriate functionalities and implementation.

• Coordinate to make sure that the team understands the project and/or functional requirements

• Presentation of technical design

• Developing and assigning work schedules/tasks

• Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies and ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the lifecycle of software products.

• Coordinating with the software development team in addressing technical debt

• Assist Team Development Lead to research and evaluate software related technologies and products.

• Take an active role in improvement endeavours which covers both technical and team aspect in coordination with the Development Lead

• Mentor and coach colleagues

• Assist in the training sessions within the team to share knowledge

• Coordinate and report to Team Development Lead

Competencies

• 10 years experience working in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.

• Good understanding of OOP concepts and principles and .NET programming language skills

• 8 years experience in REST API development using .NET Framework, .NET Core

• 5 years experience in developing Mobile App development.

• Good understanding of App application development concepts and principles

• Have worked on multiplatform applications using Mobile applications using Xamarin / .NET Maui

Skills

• Analytical and pragmatic at the same time in defining good and efficient processes and solutions

• Active listening skills to capture individual needs while distinguishing them from broader organizational requirements.

• Strong background in software, solution, or enterprise architecture
