Technical Lead Mobile Development (React Native)

Gorilla Logic is looking for a technical lead mobile development (React Native), who will work with a team of engineers developing our client’s system. This is a unique and highly technical role, requiring strong development experience in delivering leading-edge solutions. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination. 

Responsibilities

*Provide technical leadership to a cross-functional development team(s)

*Collaborate with the product owner and scrum master

*Responsible for technical implementation decisions in support of requirements

*Design and build mobile apps for the iOS & Android platforms

*Provide architectural leadership to the team and our client

*Work with an agile team to build, maintain and optimize our client’s applications

*Mentor fellow developers

*Work closely with UI/UX design, product ownership, backend, and other teams

*Proficient English and communications skills required

*Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Technical Requirements

*Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience

*5+ years of mobile application development experience

*3+ years of React Native app development

*Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning required

*Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

*Experience publishing multiple iOS and/or Android apps and beta distribution using TestFlight, Firebase and/or AppCenter

*Demonstrated experience with bringing multiple products to market

Bonus Skills

*Native experience with iOS/Swift/Objective-C and/or Android/Kotlin/Java

*Experience using Fastlane to automate beta/prod release process

*Backend development experience with .Net/C#, Java/Spring and/or Node.js

*Experience with other hybrid mobile technologies like Flutter and Xamarin
