Technical Lead, Server Development
REMOTE / SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT / FULL-TIME

About the Team
The Realtime Server Platform Team is responsible for developing and maintaining all Zoom real time servers to offer in-meeting services to customers. This team works closely with the Operations and Support teams to guarantee the high availability of services and applying new technology to extend Zoom services to match the huge global demand. As part of the team you will face customer escalation challenges, products and production high availability issues and learn how to develop and maintain a world class real time service.
About the Role

• Work within a geographically dispersed and fully remote team delivering critical implementations
• Propose and assess solutions to design problems
• Support and maintain existing software functionality; to investigate, analyze, and correct identified defects
• Production and Server tuning
• Serve as point of contact for server production escalations

About You
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Software / Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of development experience
• Strong knowledge of C/C++

Preferred Qualifications:

• Multimedia and Real Time collaboration system knowledge
• Familiar with Linux C/C++ development
• Familiar with Linux commands
• Experience debugging and tuning performance and memory issues
• Interposing communication and multithreaded programming
• A logical thinker with excellent problem-solving ability
• Native or professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese preferred
