Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

What you will learn and contribute to

DUTIES: Support Nokia 5G and LTE products. Responsible for driving the device interoperability development testing with key chipset vendors. Create Program Plans, test plan, test report to ensure testing capability meets Nokia requirement, including reviews/analysis of feature specifications. Test specification work including creating/updating/reviewing test documents (i.e. test plans, test cases, test reports, feature specification, instructions, etc). Perform inter-operability testing with OEM/Chipset vendors in Nokia lab and if needed in the customer lab. Install, commission, and integrate 5G gNB and 4G eNB in test environment. Test and report for assigned test cases and perform Fault investigation/reporting which includes cooperation with other teams. Analyze logs and troubleshoot problems from the field and customer lab. Provide remote and/or on-site support to Nokia Test Teams on site and/or in customers lab. Lab maintenance which includes evaluating test tools and test equipment needed prior to each release, upgrading NEs, and building/expanding of workstations & 5G gNB/ 4G eNBs. Familiarization with the tools, processes and methods linked to the job (QXDM, Wireshark (5G and 4G), EMIL, SYSLogs, Sherpa etc). Provide training to team members on new features/test equipment as needed. Consults, supports and guides team member. Provide technical support/training to other teams. #LI-DNI

Your skills and experience

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field and 2 years of telecom experience or related to involve: (1) end-to-end knowledge of Radio access network WCDMA/LTE/5G and IP Mobile Networks and e2e system verification testing, test case development, test planning and troubleshooting; (2) debugging tools including: QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark, Network, TTI Trace Analyzer, RRC analyzer and network log analyzer; and; (3) 3GPP Specification in the area of Control plane RRC, PHY, MAC and good familiarity of eNB/gNB architecture and radio interface protocol and RRM features and implementation.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: In lieu of a Master's degree, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field and 5 years of telecom experience or related. Also, 2 years of experience stated herein: (1) end-to-end knowledge of Radio access network WCDMA/LTE/5G and IP Mobile Networks and e2e system verification testing, test case development, test planning and troubleshooting; (2) debugging tools including: QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark, Network, TTI Trace Analyzer, RRC analyzer and network log analyzer; and (3) 3GPP Specification in the area of Control plane RRC, PHY, MAC and good familiarity of eNB/gNB architecture and radio interface protocol and RRM features and implementation.

Salary Range: Salary: $113,194 - $187,120/year
