Delivery of modern, large scale enterprise data solutions aimed to provide investment professionals with high-quality data critical to their needs in an efficient and reliable manner

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership on delivery, including providing insights on relevant technologies in data management and cloud• Ensuring a sound and resilient architecture is planned and implementation meets the technical quality standards• Work in close collaboration with consumers of the data (internal customers) to ensure solutions are built to deliver high-quality data• Lead and mentor a team of up to 10 engineers;

Skills

Must have

• At least 8 years of relevant IT experience in data domain and at least 2 years of technical leadership experience• Strong, proven experience in data engineering with ability to deliver sustainable solutions. Can read and comprehend code and architecture of full stack technical solutions. Able to dive deep into problem areas, including the code and provide support for the development team to resolve those problems• Practical experience in delivering IT projects, especially in the data tier: data governance, data management, data warehousing, data lakes. Familiar with relevant technological solutions, industry best practices• Practical experience with Cloud technologies (AWS)• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to efficiently collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including consumers of the data
