Technical Marketing Engineer

Summary:

onsemi is seeking a motivated, fast learning, and self-driven candidate ready to join the Power Solutions Group (PSG) Marketing team. Our team is a value driven partner in identifying, targeting, and supporting strategic growth in key market segments, encompassing the full breadth of the PSG portfolio. As the PSG Product Marketing Engineer, you will collaborate with Internal onsemi Stake Holders, Channel Partners, and Strategic Customers. Responsibilities will include:

• Define and drive the technical strategy and collateral required to increase awareness and adoption of the full PSG portfolio.
• Build strong cooperative relationships with the internal and external Design Influencers, Engineering organizations.
• Develop sales tools including technical presentations, product videos, webinars and best practices around product portfolio
• Create and communicate detailed, technical solution benefits with internal sales teams and channel partners.
• Understand segment/application/customer, system-level requirements and delivering technical insights to stakeholders.
• Provide targeted training and opportunity support across multiple market segments and applications.
• Work closely with Sales and Business units on competitor analysis, product performance and market intelligence.

Qualifications

Candidate Must:

• Have BSEE, related Engineering Discipline and 2+ years technical/industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to present data to all levels of a customer's organization in a detailed and professional manner.
• Proven track record of being pro-active and self-motivated to understand and support each product family strategy and value proposition.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport with Internal and External partners.
• Be willing and able to travel domestically (15%).
• Reside in North America (Strong preference for Arizona resident).
