Technical Marketing Manager

Pay Rate: $45.00+ per hour

Able to Work From The Following States: AL, CA, CO, FL, GA, IN, LA, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OK, OR, PA, TX, UT, WA

Keywords is looking for a Technical Marketing Manager to work with our consumer electronics client in Fort Collins, CO.

In this role you will be working closely with the Product Management and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Presales support
  • Work with presales to configure and size solution according to customer requirements
• New programs
  • Work with Product Management to define the requirements for new products/features
  • For both hardware and software
• Launches
  • Create or update Technical Presentation
    • Reference for Presales
    • Can be used to present new features/product to Presales
    • Can be used for training Presales
  • Deliver Tek Talks/other training as required
• Tools
  • OCA
    • Be expert on tool to answer questions etc.
    • Help create rules for new products/features
  • Sizer
    • Own, maintain and enhance Sizer
  • Create and support tools to help customers and presales as required
• Training
  • Train HPE and Partner Presales as required on Product Portfolio
• Material
  • Create/update technical material
  • Provide positioning of our products with other HPE products
  • Propose technical brief abstracts for solutions teams to create
• Questions
  • Answer technical questions from field and channel
• Events
  • Attend shows as required
  • Organize and set up equipment
  • Support team
• Customer presentations
  • As required attend customer presentations
  • Present or answer questions as required
• Competition
  • Assess competitive products and solutions
  • Create material to highlight differentiation
• Demos
  • Set up demos
    • For customers/partners to use/assess products
    • To allow demonstration during training or to customers
• General
  • Do whatever is required from the technical point of view to help sales

Requirements

• Deep understanding of tape technology, products, and market
• Good understanding of associated IT infrastructure including Cloud
• Good understanding of back up and archive software
• Good at presentation, communication, good with customers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
