Job Description

Sudoscan is a leading technological innovator in healthcare that aims to provide patients and medical providers with one of the simplest ways to detect small fiber neuropathy. Sudoscan is a user-friendly, non-invasive technology that stimulates sweat glands to assess small nerve fibers. Through this assessment, Sudoscan gives medical professionals a deeper understanding of neuropathy that helps them improve patient outcomes.

Sudoscan technology utilizes low voltage electrical currents sent through the palms and feet to assess sweat functioning. Testing sweat function allows us to assess the state of the nerve fibers in the peripheral system that control our sweat glands. Reduced sweat gland functioning can indicate that these nerve fibers have degenerated. These outcomes can be caused by small fiber neuropathy, a serious clinical condition.

The results obtained through Sudoscan have significant implications for neurology, diabetes, and oncology. Customized patient reports give clinicians reliable and specific information that can inform patient treatment plans.

Recently, Sudoscan was acquired by Withings, Inc. Withings creates medical-grade smart health devices. Withings and Sudoscan share a common goal of improving health outcomes through cutting-edge technology.
