Technical Product Lead - Platform & Infrastructure

MileIQ is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Product Leader to own and drive critical initiatives across our internal platform services and infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability and scalability of our systems while continuously evolving them to support innovation and growth across our user-facing products. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in leading platform development and evolution within a consumer-focused preferably mobile startup and possesses deep experience working across the full technology stack (backend mobile web) and with a wide range of internal and external systems and APIs. By leading multiple teams and stakeholders through prioritization this role will establish the vision and strategy for the core team and manage executing it to achieve the desired outcomes. This role requires a hands-on strategic and technical leader who can both envision the future and execute on the present.

Responsibilities:

• Lead high-impact projects: MileIQ is a decade old service with millions of users. The role will be touching all the functional disciplines across the service operation and continual service improvement domains.

• Drive cross-functional collaboration: Seamlessly collaborate with marketing finance product engineering and data teams to ensure alignment and efficient project delivery. Be the arbiter of the Core team resource allocation cadence.

• Champion User-Centric approach: Advocate for user needs throughout the project lifecycle. Drive and structure user needs ranking and prioritization system across multiple Core initiatives resulting in a strategic view of resource allocation.

• Embrace a data-driven approach: Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making track progress and measure the impact of projects.

• Drive excellence in execution: Promote a results-oriented mindset prioritizing efficient execution and timely delivery of projects. Build a system of process tooling and team rituals that continues to improve upon itself over time.

• Communicate effectively: Clearly articulate prioritization project goals progress challenges and learnings to stakeholders at all levels.

• Business acumen: Drive growth in core business metrics through project execution rationalize ROI and track key performance indicators.

• Robust core functionality: Partner with Platform Engineering and Eng Ops to incorporate key technical foundational initiatives into the Core portfolio.

• Platform innovation: Continuously innovate and enhance our platform to accelerate the work of all teams and stay ahead of the curve.

• Enhanced efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to make how we work more efficient with every cycle. Bring tools and solutions in places where opportunity presents itself.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in product management or program management roles with a proven track record of success in delivering scalable platforms and services. Mobile experience is a plus.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

• Excellent communication collaboration and presentation skills.

• Data-driven mindset with experience in using analytics to inform decision-making.
