Technical Product Manager

What You’ll Do 

In 2021 we introduced our Gabb Watch, which quickly became a fan favorite. From our fun digital pets of Gabb Go, to giving parents peace of mind, both kids and parents had something to love. Since then, we have been thinking up ways to keep making our Gabb Watch updates, and new products innovative and fresh. Which leads us to needing our next team member!  

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our Gabb Watch products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the development, launch, and ongoing improvement of our watches, ensuring they meet the needs and expectations of our customers.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our consumer hardware and software offerings, aligning with company goals and market trends
• Conduct thorough market research to identify consumer needs and preferences, monitor competitor products, and identify opportunities for product improvements
• Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the vision, feature prioritization, and release schedule for our consumer products
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of the product development process
• Lead the product development process from concept to launch, including defining product requirements, specifications, and coordinating with engineering teams
• Focus on delivering exceptional user experiences, collaborating with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly products
• Establish and oversee testing procedures to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance
• Plan and execute product launches, including marketing and sales strategies, customer support, and communication plans
• Continuously monitor product performance and gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Manage and track product development budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field 
• Proven experience as a Product Manager in consumer hardware/software development
• Strong understanding of consumer technology markets and trends
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and knowledge of design thinking principles
• Experience with data analysis and using data to drive decision-making
• Past work experience with consumer hardware or software products
