OVERVIEW:

Sportradar is seeking a Technical Product Manager with a passion for sports to join our team and drive the next evolution of our insights and analytics platform - Radar360. Radar360 is a robust analytics platform built for sports, enabling storytellers with advanced search and filtering capabilities to uncover insights and storylines to drive fan engagement.

As the Technical Product Manager you will be responsible for owning the vision, roadmap, delivery and maintenance for current and future iterations of the platform. To be successful, you must thrive on solving complex problems, love working with deep/rich sports data sets and communicating across diverse teams.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Define and execute upon the vision, strategy and roadmap around Sportradar's radar360 insights and analytics platform.
  • Work across a diverse set of internal and external customers (e.g. leagues, broadcasters, digital publishers etc.) to truly understand the right problems to solve and the right solutions to bring to market.
  • Communicate and drive transparency of project status and commitments to stakeholders and customers.


  • Work within a dedicated squad to drive user stories and bring your ideas and market needs to life.
  • Provide demos and product deep-dives to customers to showcase the power and capabilities of the product suite.
  • Develop and mature support and communication processes to handle and respond to incoming customer questions and issues surrounding the radar360 product(s).
  • Perform detailed market/customer analysis to evaluate opportunities to grow and expand the product.
  • Be an energetic self-starter with the ability to take ownership, manage risk and be accountable for deliverables.


YOUR PROFILE:

  • 5+ years experience as a Product Manager/Owner who can demonstrate significant success in using technical solutions to deliver client-focused products.
  • Knowledge and passion for sports- you know sports inside and out, you know the compelling stats that matter, you know how to derive insights from data
  • Strong SQL skills coupled with database (MySQL, Postgres, NoSQL).
  • Experience in developing B2B analytics solutions, preferably in sports.


  • Proven and continued success collaborating with cross-functional groups including management, engineering, sales teams and most importantly - customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; with experience using metrics to prove assumptions and concepts
  • Very strong and proven communication skills
