Marsh McLennan Innovation Centre (MMCIC) seek a talented, hands-on Technical Product Manager.

Based in our Dublin Innovation Centre, you will be working with an Agile development team focusing on Data and Analytics products. 

As our Technical Product Manager, you will provide thought leadership towards the product technology strategy & bring your talent in Angular or React development, to help redesign enterprise wide, business systems.

Partnering with other technology teams, you will be the data and technical specialist, to help develop state of the art Business Intelligence and analytics tools

As a member of the broader MMC Tech, you will take an active role in amplifying the voice of end-users and the product line strategy to your development team.

What you need to have:

• Sound experience of or background in Angular or React development
• Experience in or sound knowledge of Analytics, Data or Data Science
• Working experience of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) & the ability to talk tech with Engineers and the business alike.
• A practical, collaborative approach to designing solutions for the end-user
• Experience, knowledge and talent in Product management and delivery.

What makes you stand out:

• Strong BI or Data Analytic skills with track record of end-to-end implementation using MicroStrategy.
• Talent with tools such as Tableau and/or QlikSense
• The communication skills to challenge through collaboration plus ability to develop key stakeholder relationships with peers, and senior leadership across the business.
• Experience in Python, Java or equivalent coding languages
• Experience or practical knowledge of UI/UX
• Agile certification such as APM, AgilePM, PMI, SAFe, Scrum

We will rely on you to:

• Understand existing products end-to-end from technology and business outcome perspectives
• Juggle multiple products at once and still have fun doing it
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to other team members and develop guidelines, standards and checklists
• Be an active problem-solver
• Liaise closely with technical colleagues that are part of MMC’s Tech organisation
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with the business stakeholders
• Communicate complex concepts in such a way that stakeholders will understand
• Communication of upcoming releases, deliver training sessions, status reporting
• Assist manager with product backlogs and release management
• Provide estimates for product features
• Contribute to increasing the team’s overall velocity, quality and value delivered
• Identify new best practices & technology
