About the role:
Raft is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Manager with a strong background in data management and a passion for driving innovation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data management principles, technologies, and best practices. You should be able to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and user stories. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of hands-on product development/product management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of computer science and software development lifecycles, including a working knowledge of programming
- An "Agilista" who ensures all contractual deliverables are executed accurately and on time
- Product road mapping skills
- Cloud services knowledge and experience
- GitOps experience
- Jira experience
- Written and oral technical approach experience
Highly preferred:
- Strong background in data management, including data governance, data integration, data quality, and data analytics.
- Familiarity with data management technologies and tools such as data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance frameworks.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the defense or government sector is a plus.

- Active Top Secret security clearance
