Let's talk about the team
As a Technical Product Manager (TPM) for Platform Services, you will engage with business stakeholders and customers to capture, manage, and prioritize critical business requirements for platform services. Then, you will translate those needs into platform offerings and work with internal teams to enable adoption.
In ResMed SaaS we believe the mission of the Platform Team is to accelerate software delivery by providing a core foundation of shared services, self-service APIs, and knowledge packed as products that engineering teams love to use. We are looking for a TPM to use modern product management methods to create solutions to fulfill this mission.
A successful candidate will be both creative and highly analytical, strong at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into products and applications that deliver value to ResMed SaaS engineering teams. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
This position requires technical skills, customer obsession, and strong prioritization to execute a roadmap with clear milestones. This role is highly visible and an excellent opportunity for an experienced product and technical leader to influence the re-imagination of healthcare.
Let's talk about the role
- Collaborate closely with designers and engineers to create effective solutions and then work together to deliver those solutions to the market.
- Work with multiple internal and external stakeholders and customers to elicit requirements and understand their needs.
- Bring to the team a solid knowledge of the various constraints of the business: marketing, sales, service, finance, legal, and security.
- Contribute to the team a deep knowledge of our users and customers.
- Be aware of and follow industry trends as they pertain to the product.
- Influence outcomes through your use of data and logic.
- Define key success metrics. Measure, adjust, and iterate.
- Create, refine, and drive the prioritization of the Platform backlog.
- Identify and coordinate intra-team dependencies
Let's talk about you
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field. Or equivalent experience building and shipping software.
- Experience creating user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience using Agile/Scrum/Kanban and associated tools.
- Ability to nurture agile principles in teams unfamiliar with the methodology.
Preferred Skills
- Experience implementing Identity and Access Management solutions and using related standards: OIDC, SAML 2.0, oAuth, etc.
- Previous experience building platform capabilities as products is a big differentiator for this role.
- Previous experience in healthcare IT is a great plus but not required.
- Some travel might be required.
