This position is eligible for partial telework at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
This position may be located in Moline, IL ; Chicago, IL per the hiring manager's discretion. This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.
Your Responsibilities
As a Technical Product Manager on the Platform team within the Enterprise Product Data Management organization, located in Moline, IL, you will be part of designing, building, delivery, and enabling other Product Teams. The EPDM Platform Team is responsible for Managing the EPDM Platform(s) (i.e. Windchill) and DevOps processes/tools to enable EPDM Product Teams. In this position you will:
  • Understands key business objectives and strategy of the EPDM Platform Product. Works with business owners to ensure that they are engaged and supportive of direction.
  • Makes final decisions on product functionality and ensure that functionality is aligned with Digital Product Manager's strategic vision for the products within product family scope.
  • Creates and maintains product OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
  • Maintains and refines product backlog.
  • Ensures features definition, acceptance criteria, and stories clearly communicate customer/stakeholder needs to the team; works with team to clarify as necessary.
  • Understands and supports inter-team dependencies and impediments and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Accountable for determining release date, scope of release and communication strategy. Monitors and communicates the key success metrics of the product.
  • Participates in team events (e.g., daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint demos).
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure strategy alignment

What Skills You Need
  • 4 more years of experience managing requirements for large scale applications.
  • 4 or more years of proven experience in the application of sound architecture (e.g. loosely coupled architecture, modular design patterns)
  • 3 or more years of experience leveraging DevSecOps culture, tools, & practices
  • 3 or more years of Agile software development process experience.
  • 2 or more years project management experience working on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience in roles that required demonstration of negotiation, interpersonal communications, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving ability.

  • Experience with software development on cloud platforms (i.e. Azure, AWS)
  • Experience working within largescale platforms
  • Demonstrated growth mindset and servant leadership

Education Details
  • Bachelors of Arts/Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field.
