Job Description:
DTN’s Eco Platform teams build the shared components and services that collectively power DTN's vertical product lines in our weather, agriculture, and energy sectors. This is an individual contributor role which will need to collaborate with and influence product and development peers to deliver technical solutions for both internal teams and end users.Â
As such, we seek candidates experienced in both making and implementing technical product decisions for the following types of software products:Â
- DaaS - customers pay a subscription fee to access data as a serviceÂ
- Enterprise software - used by 5 or more customers in productionÂ
- B2B or B2C products with transactional or ad-supported business models and high transaction volumes ( >10K per mo)Â
What you will be responsible for:
- The continuous development of our Weather data platform, especially weather station observation processing.
- Application / component design - write, edit and revise technical specs and detailed acceptance criteria for releases
- Review release demos and reject deliveries not meeting the functional standards described in your acceptance criteriaÂ
- Collect and analyzing data needed to understand problems, determine the best option from a set of candidate solutions, and clearly articulate the information needed for its widespread and efficient adoptionÂ
What you bring to the role:
- Good domain knowledge with a background in Meteorology or similar environmental data
- Proficiency in discussing technical issues with software engineering teams. A bachelor's degree plus a background in software development, engineering or a physical science is preferred but not required
- 3+ years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data scientist, or QA. Experience with a platform product for software developers (APIs) is preferred but not essentialÂ
- Meticulous attention to detail - for combing through epics and covering all requirements discovered during problem definitionÂ
- A bias towards and willingness to sign up for results, even when this means having to work through others to achieve the necessary outcomeÂ

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between PHP 52,500 and PHP 75,000 monthly. DTN is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
