In this role you will work as a member of the Digital Product team with a focus on One Money Transfer experience. You will ensure Western Union has the best-in-class solutions, which provide the best possible customer experience, while achieving success metrics.Â
Role Responsibilities
This role will lead the efforts for building a One Money Transfer experience across all digital platforms, and cater to both senders and receivers’ needs that will drive customer satisfaction, speedy service delivery, and ensure repeat business.
This role will combine our Money Transfer digital experience with digital banking capabilities to make a singular experience for Western Union customers.
Leads the product lifecycle from requirement definition through ongoing optimizations and enhancements.
Identifies new opportunities, drives product strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams, and owns the roadmap for build/scale capabilities.
Manage communication with Business teams, Data Science, and Engineering to define & refine long term vision.
Lead and collaborate cross-functional teams through Agile Scrum methodologies, product research, requirements, feature prioritization, metrics analysis, authoring user stories and acceptance criteria, capability development, testing, and launch. Ensure product features are delivered according to specifications.
Ensure proper product alignment and approvals are obtained from Business, Legal, Compliance, Privacy and Infosec.Â
Act as the primary point of contact with the Business Product team for work and feature intake, planning, estimation, and development.
Role Requirements
6+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager with complete understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
3+ years of experience in Financial Services, preferably within the Banking or FinTech domain.
A software background is required, with a deep understanding of digital ecosystems.
A deep understanding of how mobile and web applications are built, monitoring and measuring app performance, and APIs; basic knowledge of database architecture and design.
Experience working with technology teams and contributing to technical leadership.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to constantly deep dive and make data-driven decisions.
Strong business writing, presentation, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences.
Experience creating wireframes, workflow diagrams, product features & stories.

Salary
The base salary range is $100,000 - $175,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
