We are looking for a creative, empathetic, and collaborative Technical Product Manager to help us build software products that solve problems for our health plan members, employer clients, brokers partners, and internal business users.

Technical Product Managers at Gravie work in partnership Product Managers and other internal business stakeholders to understand the value proposition of our health plans, products, and solutions and work with our technology team to enhance our digital solutions offering to bring that value to customers. We leverage technology to create delightful member, employer, and broker experiences that differentiate Gravie in the market.

You will:
ยท Work with PM (Product Managers) and other stakeholders to understand overall product strategy and vision and translate into operational and technological solutions.
ยท Participate in the strategic planning and implementation of new products in the portfolio. Bridge the gap in understanding between the business and technology. Ensure that technology product being built or the processes being automated meets the overall business requirements.
ยท Collaborate with operations and technology team to develop and enhance member facing portals through workflow analysis, requirement documentation, user acceptance testing, and end user training.
ยท Become the technology subject matter on business processes and operational workflows to assist in decision-making processes resulting in increased efficiency, client retention, and member engagement.
ยท Ensure products requirements are sufficiently defined for the engineering team to develop and test. Write and organize technical requirements in a clear and concise manner for consumption by technical and non-technical audiences (e.g. business stakeholders, PM, UX, Dev, QA), internal and external to the company. Adhere to department-defined standards for requirements definition.
ยท Ensure that the non-functional requirements provided by architects, compliance, legal, and other stakeholders are well-represented in the delivery plan.ย 
ยท Ensure each release is accompanied by release notes that are relevant and appropriate to the impacted audience.
ยท Remain up-to-date with major new features that emerge from the platform vendors that support the Gravie Operating System, including Salesforce and others. Proactively suggest consideration of those updates that may address the needs of the business area.
ยท Ensure that the final digital products meet customer needs and exceed expectations. Assist operations teams in establishing reporting, analytics, and quality assurance measures to track success of workflows, mitigate risk, and identify areas for improvement.
ยท Support backlog prioritization and trade-off decisions using a combination of data and business needs.
ยท Demonstrate a commitment to our core competencies of authenticity, curiosity, creativity, empathy, and outcome orientation.

You bring:
ยท 5+ years of experience as a technology-focused product manager, product owner, or business analyst.
ยท Work experience in health care (preferably payer)
ยท A proven track record of launching new digital products or major product features for consumers or internal business users in a fast-paced, agile environment.
ยท Experience in developing web portals, mobile applications, third-party integrations, and business process automation.
ยท Strong experience in creating robust product roadmaps and collaborating with engineering to estimate software projects.
ยท A passion for solving complex and ambiguous problems.
ยท Demonstrated expertise in creating highly usable and enjoyable user experiences.
ยท Strategic thinking and efficient tactical execution.
ยท Comfortable with ambiguity and able to quickly adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
ยท Strong experience with story mapping, requirement hierarchies and traceability, and defining capabilities/features and acceptance criteria.
ยท Experience establishing metrics and using analytics frameworks to gain insights into how users interact with digital products to drive data-driven decisions to optimize user experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within an organization and with varying technical expertise.
ยท Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Business Administration is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
