Technical Product Manager, Data Resiliency

Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Storage is looking for a Technical Product Manager to be part of the team that is responsible for IBM Storage Defender Data Resiliency platform.

• Product managers are responsible for gathering customer and market requirements and distilling it into a strategic roadmap that they drive through execution GTM and customer adoption.
• Successful candidates will have 3-5 years of Product management experience with a successful track record of shipping market leading products and deep domain expertise in data protection data governance or data security.

Job Duties:

• Work with key stakeholders and a cross-functional team to define product requirements manage new product releases including all product launch deliverables
• Work closely with Development and UX teams on functional definition and delivery
• Work with sales and partners to strengthen the Defender Storage Protect offerings
• Participating in defining product strategy and roadmap management
• Develop and coordinate enablement assets for sales and partners
• Work with industry analysts partners and customers to gather and validate market requirements understand pain points address RFEs and evangelizing the product roadmap and vision

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Data Protection and Disaster Recovery
• Data Security and Governance
• Enterprise Storage
• Experience working with UX and Development in an agile environment
• Product Management experience 3 years

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• BS or MS in Engineering
• MBA preferred but not required
• Product Management experience 5 years
• Experience working with Managed Service providers system integrators and ecosystem partners
• Experience shipping Enterprise software products to Fortune 50 companies mid-market across all major verticals – financial education government healthcare and retail
