You will be responsible overall technology strategy and seamless operations of the key strategic finance systems platforms. You will direct the team with a clear and descriptive set of requirements and partner with the team to determine what can be delivered through balancing the need for new features, defects, and technical debt. Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Resources, Users on the platform.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own and manage Hyperion - Financial close platform, Automic automation and scheduling platform and other platforms in future for GEHC.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of the platforms for its broad userbase.
  • Manage relationship with the product team and ensure license management, contract management, release schedules and updates for all platforms in scope.
  • Partner with GEHC cyber and risk team to manage product vulnerabilities and patching. Responsible for BU owned vulnerabilities and patching and accountable to CTO owned vulnerabilities and patching
  • Manage product upgrades to latest versions for all platforms in scope
  • Responsible to implement and maintain SOX controls to ensure compliance with SOX standards. Support SOX audits.
  • Demonstrate excellent business acumen, know latest industry trends and be viewed as an internal expert for Finance & Close related system
  • Assist the business in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how they are then integrated with other business and technical processes
  • Maintain functional peer relationships and detailed working knowledge of the assigned area's systems, organization, and business processes
  • Single point of contact for business as a subject matter expert for Finance systems platforms
  • Own the releases and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs (Minimum Viable Product) and quarterly releases for finance systems platforms
  • Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs
  • Demonstrate strategic level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity
  • Engage frequently with the architecture and development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions
  • Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization, preferably in the Healthcare industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) OR etc.
  • A minimum of 8 + years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials in Finance Systems

Desired Characteristics

  • Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization
  • Experience managing budgets including budget and spend

    Strong understanding and knowledge of various project and portfolio management methodologies with track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals

The salary range for this position is 124,000.00 - 186,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. Available benefits include health, welfare, retirement, and paid leave
