The Position: We're looking for a Technical Product Manager in our Jacksonville, Fl location!

Purpose of the Position: The Strategy team's mission is to drive growth by executing Beeline's business strategy. We support Beeline investment decisions, prioritization, and allocation of talent by providing a holistic understanding of our products, markets, and relative advantages. We do so by closely monitoring the key trends driving our business and industry forward, building and maintaining internal and external relationships with customers, influencers, and ecosystem partners, and setting the strategy and roadmaps for the product portfolio.

The Technical Product Manager in Product Management/Product Strategy is a senior role within Beeline's Strategy team responsible for assessing opportunities and translating them into insights and recommendations. Recommendations are presented as business cases. The individual will create, pitch, and defend recommendations to the executive leadership team and educate other stakeholders such as technology and operations on product decisions and priorities. This role requires an individual who can serve both as a subject matter/product expert when engaging with prospects and clients and as a market expert when collaborating internally with product design, product management, sales, marketing, product marketing, and operational teams. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring the skills and acumen to partner with and influence executive leadership across the business.

This leader is a principal champion of the company's vision and change agent for the transformation of our product offering.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as subject matter expert for product managers, internal stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Review product portfolio and strategy from an administrator value point of view.
  • Build a deep understanding of our existing business, market and product.
  • Work with strategy colleagues and product design to define the highest priority investments for new features/capabilities that create more value and transformed experiences that improve value.
  • Work with cross-functional partners (product, marketing, partnerships, sales, operations, engineering, finance) to surface opportunities and threats, outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable product recommendations.
  • Understand and communicate thorough data-driven business cases for proposed products and initiatives, including cost/benefit estimates, market trends, competitive analysis, risk analysis, industry best practices and product development timelines.
  • Define minimum competitive products, capabilities, and partner with product management to build and maintain a growth-driven strategic roadmap.
  • Define high-level Epics and Story Maps for product planning prioritization.
  • Serve as an overall customer, market, product and business champion within the company and with internal stakeholders.


Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience working with Procurement software, VMS, Contract Management Software, and/or HR tools
  • 5 years of experience working in financial services including time keeping, invoicing, payment, and settlement
  • 2 years of experience in a mix of product research/design, market strategy, business development
  • Deep knowledge of back-office processes and applications used in human capital management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent of education and experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Business/Marketing or Finance
  • Certification in Pragmatic Marketing Product Management preferred
