The Role
In this role, you will be facilitating the discovery, delivery, and performance of Cover Whale's web & API products; and collaborating with internal resources and partners to address complex and challenging problems to optimize the customers' (internal/external) experience with market offerings, as well as employing User-Centered Design and Design Thinking methodologies to bring elite Digital and/or Technology-driven products to market. In this role, you will be working closely with the engineering team to prioritize and plan platform development, in addition to defining and communicating platform product vision to the broader organization.
Please note: This is an on-site role with the requirement to be in the office at least 4 times per week.
We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we do not provide relocation or visa support for this role.
Compensation:
The Expected base pay for the role will be between $148,000-$171,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonus and other Cover Whale-sponsored total rewards/benefits.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role should come from a SaaS platform background, have excellent communication skills, and be able to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering)
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management with experience in B2B/B2C SaaS platforms
Must-Have Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to drive product development with high velocity and quality
- Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes
- Knowledge of agile values, principles, and mindset
- Demonstrated track record in effective requirement elicitation and analysis
- Strong experience in a dynamic product management role
- Highly effective cross-functional team management
- Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Proficiency using Confluence, JIRA, Clarity, and Jira Align
