About the Role:
This is a technical product role. To qualify for this role, you have detailed technical experience building scalable and performant web applications. You have managed high volume, mobile first, consumer facing web applications. You have agile experience, participating in the Agile ceremonies. Ideally, you have experience managing the customer experience of multiple products within a SaaS suite. You understand how to turn raw data in customer impacting/centric insights.
This is a full-time, remote position.
Technical Product Manager, Sales Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive the roadmap of our current SaaS home screen experience as well as our Snap! Insights, balancing short and long-term goals and balance new business features with reducing technical debt and bug fixing.
- Become an ally to our customers, working directly with them to understand what data & tools they need to efficiently implement our suite of products into their organizations.
- Work with our sales teams & other product owners to collect and analyze feedback, then subsequently synthesize into roadmap priorities and work closely with engineering for execution.
- Manage stakeholders across our growing product verticals as well as internal departments. Articulate their product requirements to developers and assist with the management of the development process.
- Run meetings with technology and design teams such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog estimating.
- Ensure the products are consistent across the platform & align with our overall business objectives.
- Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance. Think creatively about our customer use cases and implement educated A/B testing to provide the best experience for all users.
- Have strong communication skills to clearly describe strategy and drill into tactics. Be able to articulate where we are on a roadmap and the journey we are taking to deliver a product.
- Lead by example. Roll up your sleeves to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet our high standards of quality.
- Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make trade-offs.
- Find the best path forward for the business when confronted with competing requirements and priorities.
- Take input and drive action from a diverse group of talented team members across functions.
- Maniacal focus on “the details,” follow-up, process, audit, etc.
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities in a Technical Product Manager, Sales:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years professional technical product management experience working on digital products.
- 1+ Years working with a SaaS company at a product management level.
- Can collate & present raw data in meaningful way to our customers.
- Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrate deployments of a successful product previously.
- Experience working directly with stakeholders, product, engineering & design/UX teams in an Agile environment.
- Experience with software development and documentation tools such as Notion, JIRA.
- Strong user experience and technical sensibilities.
- Self-starter sensibilities with an enthusiasm for collaboration.
- You are well organized, and an excellent time manager.
- Not afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Actively seek data to drive sound decision making.
- Ability to roll up sleeves in a startup environment and get projects over the finish line.
