Technical Product Manager - Security

Introduction
Working with senior members of the Product Management and Polar Product Management team you will be responsible for planning and driving Cloud Security Data offerings focussed on DSPM and PLG through all phases of the product lifecycle. You will be chartered with crafting the vision and executing the strategy for the Guardium Cloud Security Posture Management solutions while also leading the PLG motions. You will work with various platforms that leverage cloud modern technologies including AWS Azure and other cloud-native technology. The right candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience expertise in cloud security technology and least privilege technology for multi-cloud environments. Your goal will be to deliver solutions that help minimize the risks of cloud security breaches and operational disruptions for cloud-native solutions.

In this role you’ll be the go-to person for our tech sales teams to support clients that need technical deep dives and deep product demos providing expert advice on our diverse range of data security products with a special focus on Data Security Posture Management and the Guardium portfolio of offerings. Imagine showcasing these innovative solutions to clients virtually or in person and enabling our global team to better scale and shine! Your role will be crucial in deep diving into product demos clearly articulating the value our offerings bring to the table and ensuring that our clients have the utmost confidence in our solutions.
– Master Security Products: Become an ace in the world of our dynamic data security products including data security posture management and the Guardium data security portfolio – including activity monitoring vulnerability assessment discovery and classification encryption and more.
– Client Engagement: Through our sales and tech sales teams engage with clients virtually or face-to-face and provide them with in-depth discussions and product demonstrations. Show clients how our data security products work and the incredible value they offer in the ever-evolving landscape of data security.
– Voice of the Client: Capture valuable insights and feedback from our clients and share that back with the product management team to influence the direction of our product roadmaps. Your role will be a bridge between our clients and our exceptional product management and development teams.
– Strategic Prioritization: Prioritize the most strategic and tactical product requirements and work closely with Product Managers to ensure our product roadmap aligns with the needs of the rapidly growing and evolving market.
– Competitive Edge: Conduct competitive research to keep us ahead of the curve. Your understanding of the data security landscape will fuel our innovation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Tech-Savvy Passion: You have a strong passion for all things tech! Your background especially in security data & AI or tech sales will be your foundation in this thrilling role.
• Passion for Client Engagement: Demonstrate a robust eagerness to engage directly with clients and collaborate seamlessly with our technical sales team to listen to our clients and prospects understand their needs and concerns and bridge the gap by translating what you hear to explain the value or show the capabilities that client needs to understand or see.
• Leadership Excellence: Your past experiences in product management or technical sales leadership positions will shine through steering our team towards even greater success.
• Security Realm Expertise: Your familiarity with the information security industry and security software products will give you a head start in mastering this role. Even more desirable would be background with data security offerings.
