Job Description

As a Product Manager in Wix Viewer, you'll own the platform behind Wix's stack of rendering and serving technologies - the most precisely engineered, optimized, and critical parts of our platform. These systems are at the core of every single Wix product, and serve over a billion page views a month. In your day-to-day, you will:

• Own the visitor experience for all Wix customers 
• Gain a deep understanding of the web technology market and Wix platform and ensure all our 243M+ customers’ websites have state-of-the-art performance, stability, and capabilities despite being built by a multi-purpose platform including multiple Wix products
• Lead the product through the next big shift in technologies, laser-focusing the team through a deep technology project to ensure the biggest impact to our users
• Intimately understand the relationship between technology and the experience for our users across the whole Wix platform and own it with a passion
• Collaborate with Wix product groups to support their needs and ensure their success
• Work closely with Wix management on high-focus projects 
• Foster and guide technological innovation within the group

Qualifications

• Exceptional product skills and a love for deep technology 
• At home analyzing market expectations, understanding user behavior, and diving deep into tech and architecture
• Self-driven and able to take initiative without explicit instruction 
• A natural leader, others look to you for example and focus
• Not intimidated by challenges, you have a track record producing high-quality solutions for complex problems
• Experience in development, systems architecture, or technical product management - an advantage

The Wix Viewer team is responsible for the tech stack which renders and serves over 1B monthly page views for the millions of websites running on the Wix platform. Our toughest challenge is serving up a modern, ultra-performant, robust website which feels like it was custom built for each business, but is actually made up of any possible combination of Wix features, 3rd party apps, and user code that can be imagined. This means we’re constantly on the edge of technology whether frontend, SSR, layout and expression, and our various platforms for apps and user code.
