Technical Product Manager - Work Management
Job Description
Duration: 6-Months
Location: 100% Remote
Note: Work Schedule Schedule will generally follow Pacific time, standard 40 hour weeks. There are likely to be off hour meetings to accommodate sessions with geographies in (EMEA, APLA, and maybe GC) Time Zone PST time is expected. Small accommodations may be possible.

Job Description:
This role will support the TPM team in the HR space. During the planned time period there will be work to plan, roadmap, and refine planned work with engineering partners.
The ideal candidate has excellent organization and communication skills and will use them to help the team with process and artifacts.
Workday experience is a plus.
Requirements:
- Join the TPM team and work with technical product managers to define and build the roadmaps for HR platforms as we modernize the technical landscape and transition technologies.
- In this role you will work with business product people, engineering, and architecture on a regular bases to build and manage roadmaps.
- You will have the opportunity to establish KPIs to measure value and product success.
- Your abilities to organize and communicate will be fully utilized as we stich work across teams and Geographies.
- Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life.
- Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.
- Develops vision, objectives and strategy for a Technology product or program.
- Proposes enhancements and accountable for execution, measurement of outcomes, and continuous improvement.
- Ensures the product team has the full context and understanding of customers and business environment to create valuable solutions.
- Works with team to ensure all stories are supported, clear, and delivered in high quality.
- Develops and maintains a deep understanding of the users of the product and applies this in developing proposals and in executing changes.
- Contribute to the Product Strategy & roadmap, highlighting/owning risks and dependencies.
- Ensure the readiness of the work (accept or reject work results) and that the work is aligned to the roadmap
- Own, maintain and prioritize product backlog; facilitate feature & user story mapping, break features into stories (functional and non-functional), define acceptance criteria, ensure capacity for enablers and defects.
- Prioritize and make trade-offs based on understanding of strategies, budget, epics, enabler requirements, defects, dependent teams, goals and the value features and stories bring to customers and the business
- Understand how features are performing, the level of customer satisfaction, and provide suggestions for improvements
- Expertise in both the business/need their product or platform serves, as well as the technology and operational landscape.
- Strategic in setting prioritization of the roadmap while being pragmatic in delivering incremental and continuous value (north star in mind while driving continuous value)
- Leadership and influence ability across functions and with senior stakeholders to align strategy, roadmap, and priorities for product/platform.
- Establishes and maintains cross-functional coordination.
- Ensures relationships, performance, and communications are well managed.
- Acts as an escalation point for issues that impact the product/programs cost, schedule, and/or performance.
- Collaborate with, interpret, and act as the voice of the customer for product team and bring the team to the customer whenever possible.
