Technical Production Supervisor

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking to add a technical and administrative proficient Technical Production Supervisor to our fast growing team with a keen eye for detail. The Technical Production Supervisor will work with multi-skilled operators, engineers, management, and other relevant departments within the content team. The role is an evolution of our existing Senior Production Technician, so the candidate needs to possess a deep understanding and proven experience of traditional broadcast studio functions as well as online digital streamingĀ

- Assigning and tracking key tasks related to media movement, edit support, and asset delivery.Ā
- Liaise with Sr Production Technicians, Production Technicians, Media Operations, Senior Assistant Directors, Localization, and Video Editors to bring production projects to completion.Ā
- Liaise with Production Operations management, editorial, programming, broadcast engineering, and executive leadership as neededĀ
- Ensure that all work is done and completed under the technical guidelines and operations procedures providedĀ
- Manage operational logistics for high-profile projects and productions by working close with engineering, ensuring goals and deadlines are met.Ā
- Attend meetings for specialty content to align with technical logistics, creative requirements, production milestones, and schedules.Ā
- Ability to make decisions under pressure with competing priorities and give clear direction.Ā
- Provides front-line technical support and troubleshooting in the control rooms and studios with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to escalate issues and implement solutions.Ā
- Evaluate the technical abilities of team members through training and development programs and individual feedback in collaboration with the Senior Production Technicians.Ā
- Perform control room duties as neededĀ
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- Minimum 4-year BA degree in communications preferably in TV/Film Production
- 2-4 years of production experience in a live environment in either TV or Live Streaming/BroadcastĀ
- An understanding of signal flow, both audio and video, and of end-to-end-broadcast processes.Ā
- Extensive knowledge passion for audio, lighting, vision mixers, robotic camerasĀ
- An ability to make decisions and find solutions under pressure.
- Experience in managing small teams is desirable, but not essential.
- Must be flexible with working hours and be available to work a mixture of early mornings, late nights and weekends
Base Salary: $103,200.00Ā to $134,000.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
