Technical Program Management Intern

The Team

Zuora’s Technical Program Manager (TPM) team leverages expertise in technology and system design to work across product managers and engineering teams to orchestrate the design and delivery of business objectives.  We are the glue that align teams, drive execution, minimize risks, remove impediments and successfully deliver world-class SaaS Products and Services for customers in a fast-paced environment.  

In this role you’ll get to

Work with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to experience owning and driving technical program management through data analysis, collaboration with stakeholders, and thorough planning. Some of the experiences you may gain through your internship include: 

• Act as an evangelist for enabling our product features, collaborating with Product Managers and Engineering team members
• Use your technical abilities, and program management skills to drive execution with high quality for these key initiatives
• Apply expert judgment to remove impediments and deliver success in a fast-paced environment
• Deliver results through the orchestration of technical planning, execution and enablement of key programs
• Communicate and build rapport with stakeholders, technical and non-technical team members alike
• Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent teams from delivering objectives
• Track program delivery against defined definition of done for delivery milestones
• Drive artifact and checkpoint reviews for complete delivery and Go-To-Market Readiness

Who we’re looking for

• Interest in pursuing a career in technical program management.
• Education: currently completing a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g. management science, business). Applicants must be in their junior or senior year.
• Application open to candidates based in Mountain, Central, and Eastern time zones.
• Hands-on knowledge of data engineering, data warehousing, or data science technologies is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated, willing to use online resources to answer questions, establish best practices and expand skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and planning capabilities. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well with team members and internal partners. 
• Experience using Google sheets required. Experience with Jira is a plus.
