Technical Program Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager for Snorkel Flow, our end-to-end, data first development platform for enterprise AI. The product covers the user experience and enablement across UI/CLI/API through the entire stack from preprocessing, to programmatic training data creation, to ML model training, to analysis, and deployment while integrating exciting new capabilities bringing foundation models into the core product experience.
This role requires working cross-functionally with a world class team across engineering, marketing, and sales to drive all product activities from vision to launch, including long-term product strategy, roadmapping, execution, and go-to-market support with key internal and external stakeholders. We’re looking for strong entrepreneurial technical program managers who can think big and execute well in a dynamic environment.
As a TPM, you’ll be the bridge between various teams and drive collaboration tasks across teams.
- Manage a variety of complex, cross-functional programs spanning research to production across the product stack (infrastructure, ml platform and user facing workflows) and lead all aspects of assigned programs delivery.
- Manage and improve our project management practices, including planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and delivery through Jira and other tools
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment around our product roadmap
- Define the way of driving these programs and constantly find ways of improving this process in a data-driven manner. You'll be the owner of the collaboration process and tools.
- General Project management activities including but not limited to
- Prepare the project schedule, define the milestones;
- Track and report progress, identify and mitigate risks, removing blockers;
- Lead and coordinate team execution as a coach
- Ensure products/app release to market smoothly
- BA/BS degree or above with 5+ years of project delivery or technical leadership background, plus strong organizational and interpersonal skills working in a fast paced start-up environment
- A proven track record of shipping to enterprise customers with effective communication skills to handle comms to teams, management and cross functional stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- Experience with project management tools (jira, …)
The salary range for our Tier 1 locations of San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles & New York is $170,000.00 - $200,000.00.
