Job Duties:

  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects, with varying degrees of complexity and business priorities.
  • Lead initiation and Discovery for complex, technical project. This includes working with Business Analysts, UX and CX designers to complete Voice of Customer, Business Requirement Documents, Technical Feasibility and SEO Audits.
  • Collaborate with architects to complete design. Design would include but is not limited to solution, website, UX design and solution and technical architecture.
  • Define and document project scope / requirements / plan, influence and advise on key architectural solution design.
  • Oversee the technical program management during development phase. The development phase includes management of business analysts, scrum master (ie. Project managers), developers and software vendors.
  • Oversee training of the software developed and champion internal and external customer adoption through training and reduction of technical barriers.
  • Work with finance and business to complete business cases to provide Return on Investment.
  • Document SOWs, change orders, meeting notes, weekly status and project timeline and financial tracking updates.
  • Outline resourcing needs and prioritize against all project needs.
  • Conduct executive communication with internal and external stakeholders highlighting project status, dependencies, risks, and change control
  • Prioritize program goals, understand, and translate other stakeholders' needs into program goals and prioritize deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve process or deliver heightened experience for client or internal teams.
  • Ownership of day-to-day client and third-party communication
  • Own communications across internal and external teams, including communication to team leadership.
  • Distill complex topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Communicate across program to identify, assess, collaborate & resolve any conflicts with program requirements.
  • Prepare & present information for Monthly Management Reviews, summarizing program status & any on-going production issues.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and resolve issues and risks.
  • Plan, schedule and monitor project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
  • Recognize opportunities for improvement and take initiative to implement changes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in technical program/project management of large-scale software initiatives.
  • Prior experience with Waterfall and Agile/Scrum project management methodologies and project planning tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience overseeing technical program management during development phase, including management of business analysts, scrum master/project managers, developers, and software vendors.
  • Prior experience documenting SOWs, change orders, meeting notes, weekly status and project timeline and financial tracking updates.
  • PMP and/or Agile certification a plus

Up to 15% domestic travel required.

Work Arrangement : Remote

Salary Range : $120,000.00 - $135,000.00
