Technical Program Manager
Job Description
As an Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the successful implementation and delivery of SAP Commerce Cloud projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met within scope, budget, and timeline. Your role will involve planning, executing, and monitoring projects, as well as managing risks, resolving issues, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:• Lead end-to-end project management for SAP Commerce Cloud implementations, ensuring successful delivery of projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline.• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including product managers/owners, business users, and development teams, to understand their requirements and align project objectives accordingly.• Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to gather and document functional and technical requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness.• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables, considering project dependencies and risks.• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and timely delivery of project milestones.• Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address them to minimize project disruptions.• Ensure adherence to project quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle, conducting regular reviews and audits.• Monitor project budgets, resource utilization, and expenses, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resource.• Facilitate clear and concise communication among team members and stakeholders, providing regular project status updates, conducting meetings, and managing expectations.• Assess and manage project change requests, evaluating their impact on scope, timeline, and budget, and making appropriate recommendations.• Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, status reports, risk registers, and other relevant project artifacts.• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, sharing lessons learned and implementing best practices across projects.
Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. • Proven experience as a program manager or project manager, preferably with ecommerce implementations.• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, ACP) is highly desirable.• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams effectively.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, agile practices, and project management frameworks.• Experience in risk management, issue resolution, and change management.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Strong business acumen and customer-focused mindset.
